A key idea that construct's Malala's identity is her value of education. Malala's belief that everyone has the right to education is what has shaped how society perceives her. Malala's story is unique that even after she was injured and attacked by the Taliban she continues to question why girls aren't allowed to attend school. Many ordinary students would not do this, however Malala did not let the assassination attempt prevent her from speaking out on the importance of education, she used it to make herself stronger. It is critical events in our lives like these which shape the person we are. Every action we take has meaning to others, which is why shaping our identity to be positive is critical.
